Andrew Hood's two collection of short stories are The Cloaca and Pardon Our Monsters. Both those guys received wide praise, winning him multiple accolades, including the Danuta Gleed Award. His writing has appeared in Maisonneuve, PRISM International, This Magazine, The New Quarterly, and on Joyland. In 2012 he had two stories included in the prestigious Journey Prize anthology. Hood lives in Guelph, Ontario.
